Have you ever been in a traffic jam on the expressway knowing that you only have 10 minutes to get to work or you’ll be late? Chances are… You were late.
Traffic in the real world could be a real drag (You know I played it conservative using “drag”). But Traffic in the world of online business is the freeway to success.
Your goal, as you create a website, is to generate as much traffic flowing to your site as you possibly can. You want everyone in the world to acknowledge the quality information you have to offer. Once they see that in you, they will return and also invite a special guest. There is plenty of room, so welcome them with open arms.
If you entered a site that immediately promises you will “Get Rich Fast”, would you believe it? Maybe… What if they wanted to sell you something right off the bat? Would you bite then?
This is a prime example of poor preselling.
Don’t you hate it when you walk into a retail store and some salesman immediately approaches you and asks if he could be of any help?
First of all, I don’t know yet because I just walked in. Secondly, let me look around to see if there is anything of interest to me.
Same applies to the internet. Don’t stick it in their faces. Let them look around and admire all the quality work and effort that you put into creating your website. Trust yourself and they will do the same in return.
The way you present your site to the world is a welcoming relationship you will build with your customers. Deliver your message in your own voice and your own way, your visitors will like you and most importantly… They will be back.
Once you’ve acquired that trust and confidence of your visitors, they will turn into customers. Converting your customers into income is where you execute Monetization.
Let’s face it… Why did you create a website in the first place? To make money online… That’s the difference between SBIers and everyone else.
Everyone else strives only on the Monetization aspect of it but the disadvantage they have over SBIers is…. Without the C-T-P… They will fail.
